  1. Wayne Medlin says:

    1. There is only ONE God. He is the God of the universe and He is called Jehove / Yaweh (etc).
    2. Jesus Christ is His Son. Jesus is God in another aspect.
    3. All mankind is inherently sinful and in need of redemption in order to ascend into the Holy God’s kingdom.
    4. Jesus became a mortal man and lived a sinless life. Because of this, he became a perfect sacrifice, acceptable to God for the redemption of all mankind. He was murdered, buried and, after three days rose alive and walked among men for 40 days thereafter before ascending into heaven.
    5. The only way a sinful person can be reconciled with the Holy God is through Jesus’ sacrifice. We must recognize our sinful state, become remorseful and repent and seek Christ’s intervention for us with God.

This is bare bones. Every time I try to elaborate, I don’t know where to stop.

  2. kevin says:

1.The Holy Trinity: God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 1
God revealed in 3 Persons. 2.Jesus Christ: Jesus was and is 100%
God and 100% man. Jesus Christ is God’s Son and is God , and Jesus
is the 2nd Person of the Trinity. 2.Christ’s death, Burial and
Resurrection .Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross, He was buried
,and on the 3rd day He rose again, and He ascended to heaven to sit
at the right hand of God. 4.Salvation: It is by grace alone through
faith in Christ that we are saved, not by works. 5.The Scriptures:
Are inerrant Word of GOD .with nothing to be taken away or added to
them. this is what i was able to put in to words today

    Kevin,
This would be the order that I would put Doctrines in and why!
Your five would be my first!
    1) The Verbal Plenary inspiration of Scriptures! Meaning that all Scripture is God breathed and infallible because of the nature of it’s inspiration!
    2) Second doctrine for me would be the Incarnation of the Christ! Under this would need to be the explanation of the trinity! And why Jesus was the true Immanuel!
    3) Then comes the doctrine of Salvation: why we need saving, why Jesus is the only one that saves, and why we can’t save ourselves, and why once saved, we are His forever!
    4)

Kevin you really put some thought into this. I will answer all of you on Brandon

4)The next doctrine is the doctrine of security of the believer! An exhaustive study of the doctrines of Grace or historically the theology of John Calvin would explain this doctrine! But, simply put we are secure because God designed salvation, he provided for it, and He sustains us (believers) in it!
        5) finally there comes the doctrine of Sanctification! It is the Lord who continues to work on and in us to transform us into the image of Christ, as well as aiding us in overcoming the lusts of this world and our adversary!

  3. Brandon Gonzales says:

This one is hard because we only get to choose 5.
    1) the Holy Trinity.
2)Jesus: conceived by the Holy Spirit. Born a virgin birth. Son of God. Fully God fully man.
    3) Jesus died on the cross, was buried and conquered the grave after 3 days. He ascended into heaven and he will return again.
4)the Scriptures: are the infallible word of God.
5)salvation: by grace through faith in Jesus Chrst
