Is a Church Like Driving a Car?

While a car is not a church, there are many similarities! There can only be one driver of a car at any particular point in time! The church is the same, it needs a singular driving force that focuses the church on where it needs to go! When it has too many hands on the wheel of a church, or to many people think that their particular ministry is the most important in the church, it can cause a church to drive in circles!
I have asked our church to capture a vision of reaching children and youth, and minister to the families that are stewards of those young people!
Too many churches, the membership focuses on their own needs and not the needs of those that Christ has asked us to reach! It is critical for churches today to get behind a common vision! And, if they do that vision will drive the church!
