Everyone needs someone to navigate while they drive through an unknown city. It was quite apparent one day when I took my mother in law and my wife and her sister to San Antonio that we needed a navigator. A navigator is someone who causes the driver to go where they need to go when they need to go there. The navigator directs whether they need to go left or right whether they may need to take the off ramp or on some occasions turn around and go back another way!
Navigating for the church? The relationships with in the church is what navigates the church. When the relationships go awry the vision goes awry. But when the relationships are healthy the vision stays where it needs to be and is navigating in the right direction.
How do we make relationships healthy? We make relations healthy by seeking out the offender and hearing their response and practicing forgiveness! Forgiveness then is what ultimately causes the Vision of the church to go in the right direction, through maintaining the health of the relationships and the vitality of the fellowship!
